My dads Godfather had a small station in front of his home in Avon Lake, OH. Back in the 50's we would visit and my sister and I were always invited into the station to pick out "ONE" candy bar. I found a link to a couple of stories about the place. The sign out front was very unusual. About 10 years ago the entire homestead and station disappeared to make room for more modern housing. The station was big enought for about half a dozen chairs, with a car lift outside on the side of the station.
