1936 Ford Pickup - New Engine and transmission
Hey all,
I have a 1936 ford pickup truck that I'm restoring. I have a new chassis set up for a small block Chevy engine and I plan on buying a crate motor and transmission package. Right now I'm looking at ohiospeedshop.com and paceperformance.com Does anyone have any other recommendations for site to look at?
The options I'm left with buying are a Fuel injected LS3 or a carbureted 350, possibly with 3 dual barrels (typically have tall manifolds, not sure if it will fit yet)
Obviously Price is persuading me to go with a carbureted engine as well.
The transmission choices are a Tremec T56 6 speed or a TKO 600 5 speed.
Please let me know any information or knowledge/experience you have had with any of this, it would be greatly appreciated
