As others have indicated, in 1935 the only option for a roadster would have been the spare tire antenna. The running board antenna did not come out till 1936 when the introduction of the trunk back convertible sedan(with spare tire inside trunk) forced Ford to come up with another open car option.

Introduced in 1934, the spare tire antenna carried over to 1935 and 36. Here are two images. One from the original antenna literature and the other installation sheet from a Dennis Carpenter reproduction kit.
