Unloaded miles by my definition are the miles required to drive from the
closest drop off location to where a vehicle needs to be picked up ....

No one likes to pay for unloaded miles - yet every mile driven to get
to where a car waits to be hauled costs money ...

Someone has to pay for those miles ....

I average 300 unloaded miles on a vehicle haul ....

Right now I am headed to Mississippi from Alabama to pick up
a vehicle going to Staten Island, New York .....

I have a vehicle awaiting transport on my schedule right now
from Bakersfield, CA - another near Lancaster, PA ....

The time frame for moving a vehicle ultimately is up to the
person paying for hauling - the sooner you want your car picked up
generally speaking the more money you will pay for the unloaded
miles required to drive empty to get it .....

That is why I maintain threads showing where I am headed to next,
I usually can get a vehicle hauled in 30 days or less with minimal
unloaded miles.
