The funeral for Herb was yesterday (8/18/2010), one week after Ruth. They both suffered from severe multiple internal injuries. Herb was thrown from the car, Ruth was not. He was attempting to cross a 4 lane highway and apparently did not see the oncoming car. The A was hit about the front axle but had little damage to the body.

Herb and Ruth were long time members of the Wisconsin Region of MARC. The casket was taken by Model A pickup from the church 10 miles to the cemetery. The Region provided an impressive Model A escort.
