Sorry to see that. It happens to me in my modern cars all the time in parking lots.
My suggestion is to take off the fender and take it to a body shop and have it straightened out and repainted. It will cost a few hundred dollars.
Fortunately, people here in North Carolina are more respectful of old cars than in California. One of the reasons I like it here better.
