FYI: The one piece front motor mount spring assembly that you removed from your car is not original. It can allow the front of the motor to sit too high and cause the hand crank to not fit properly.

Brattons sells the original type springs. See attached picture.
We suspected that the mount was not original, but it’s all getting replaced as the engine was compressing the springs flat. On the side of the engine, it appears to have the Float a Motor style, but we’re replacing the front with an original style mount and replacing the yoke (since the original was worn).
