I guess you could overdo it, but with the engine lifted off the mount with the jack underneath, the frame didn’t need to spread much at all. I was surprised at how easy this turned out to be. After getting the original rubber pads loose, things went well until we needed to get the bolts from the mount into the flywheel housing in - misalignment was an issue. However, a small C-clamp helped pull things into alignment and well went together smoothly.
