I’m thinking of tackling this without removing the floorboards, as I just put extra screws in them to eliminate rattles. Of course, I’ll take them out if necessary. I’ve had this car for 53 years, and one rear motor mount has been missing one of the ears that fasten to the bell housing all that time. It’s never been a problem, but in the current times, I’ve been taking care of things on this car that have needed attention for a long time. I’ll keep you all posted.
