I think it is hard for most people to say which is better. They can tell you which one works better for them. However you do not know what they are comparing. Are they comparing carburetors that are like new? Are they comparing one that is new (or correctly restored) with an old one that is worn? I would recommend that you use a carburetor that is properly setup.
