I am trying to figure out how low my 40 ford coupe is from stock. I am thinking if any one has a stock 40 coupe that is stock height maybe measure from center of axle to lower lip of rear fender would give me an idea where I am at. Unless there is another better way. Mine has possibly 1 or 2 leafs removed. Also has any one used Bob Drake tube shock conversion on a 40 Ford rear. I know there was once an outfit in Calif. called Weed Eater that sold kits also but I'm sure they are long gone now. From the center of axle to lower edge of fender is about 15 1/4" and lower edge of fender to ground it is 29". This is with a 28 1/2 tall tire.
