Side-shift, open-driveshaft transmission question...
I have a transmission that I acquired a few years ago in a trade for some other Ford "stuff" and I am wondering what the application may be. It is a side-shift, open-drive shaft trans. that I would guess would have come from a pickup truck. For some reason I thought all of those were top-shift transmissions. Were some of them column-shift?
The transmission is apart but complete. I've added a couple of photos.
