You may find that the late style vacuum modulated cruise-o-matic can be a bit quirky but I got the one in my old 64 T-bird to work extremely well as long at it was warmed up. I kind of wish I'd kept that car but it had too many electric gadgets that needed repairs more often than I cared for. If I ever find an old Starliner, 63 1/2 Galaxie fastback, or a 63/64 Marauder I may end up with another FE Ford car. I love the 390, 406, and 410 engines.
