A bit off topic but my Father spoke of a regular customer who while on a hunting trip discharged his shot gun in his 36 Chevy distorting the roof panel, & being a lead/metal man successfully shrank the badly damaged area, however getting a good paint bond was a problem over time I presume some tension still remained to cause the finish to crack.
