Yes Updraught your pics are an early phaeton or roadster cowl . I have a March 28 phaeton and the starter rod is the same as LHD it comes through the cowl above the starter switch you can see the hole in your pics .Its OK but if you have a front seat passenger you have to reach your foot across to push it and ask the passenger to give you room .But you can of course ask the passenger to do it but I cut a hole and installed the regular RHD setup .I filled the original hole with a nut and bolt and lost many fine point judging standard points !!!
