Default Re: AA transmission in an A

Its been a while since I looked at this but the Ford Green Book (seemingly published in the late 1940s) gave direction to service and for parts of the Ford Truck Line.

Somewhere on the 'net (HAMB?) is a pdf of the Green Book.

I think most everyone here has covered what I learned in attempting to put a Warford Overdrive behind that Borg-Warner 4 speed 26K mile 1930 AA chassis. The adaptation of the 4 speed tranny to the automobile was similar, was done by Ford in the factory, and was not perfect - as in the 1" may have to be made up by "if it won't fit - force it!"

My Warford was not installed, but sold along with the rolling chassis/engine to a buyer from Texas.
