I like your comment Jim about "the banger guys were friendly, the others were not" It gets a little old to me sometimes that the hot rod shows consist of sitting next to a parked fast car in your lawn chair never driving and complaining about everyone else's static display.
I'd much rather be sitting IN the stock (ok... modified stock
) banger powered car and GOING places with friendly people. Seems like a no brainer.
