Well yeah it's an air compressor, but too many "why" questions about it. For instance, why did someone find it necessary to use a two-inch diameter outlet pipe? Think about the size of a single exhaust pipe on a '40 Ford. That's way overkill for the volume of compressed air that flatty will produce. It's also not necessarily gonna be easy to set that rig up and power it with another belt-drive power source, not to forget some sort of compressed air receiver tank. Just seems overcomplicated for what could be done with more traditional, and simpler equipment. But what do I know? DD
