Default Re: 1947 back up light switch bracket

David, I have the Ford back-up-light on my '47....think it was an original Ford accessory. The switch is a "push/pull" that's mounted on the dash (left of steering column) between the headlight switch and the throttle pull. Guessing that the hole for it was drilled by the dealer for installation. It looks like it belongs there, right next to the light switch. The dash light dimmer rheostat is underneath the dash, over by and just to the right of the E brake handle.

Hope this helps.
