Bosch makes a good 3.3 ohm epoxy filled coil, and standard makes a 3.0 ohm oil filled. As mentioned the condenser needs to be tested not just for a reading but also to be sure it holds a charge and doesn’t leak down too fast. Too much dwell can believe it or not Cause points of lower quality to prematurely burn as well. What is your dwell set to on your distributor?
