I looked at Manley and Ferrea catalogs and didn't see 1.94 valves that are close to the OEM Y-block length of 5.09-in. I did find 1.60 exhaust valves and 2.02 intakes, but I think 2.02 is too big for my application. I don't think the Ford Performance 351W 2.94/1.54 valves could be considerably more expensive. I would also question the quality of any valves that are considerably cheaper.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I did want to hear from someone who uses the Ford Performance valves. If I didn't already say so, I think that valves that are used in an $11,000 crate engine that comes with a two-year warranty should be safe to use.
