Re: Putting "A" car into storage
1. change oil
2. check anti-freeze
3. jack stands under axles
4. charge battery [then remove charger]
5. shut off fuel and run carb empty
6. pour a bit of oil in cylinders
7. cover exhaust outlet and carburetor inlet [if not using a filter]
8. cover vehicle with something light and breathable
9. dryer sheets or whatever you like for keeping critters out. I don't do this.
It'll be ready and waiting for a bath and a ride come spring.
