ALL king pins are the SAME diameter, yet that diameter is very exacting. SOME cheap-ass reproduction K-pins are a couple (or MORE) of thousandths TOO small, and may not even have the proper hardness for the severe service. If it were me, I would not procure your K-pins from Speedway or Mac's (Ecklers), as their exacting quality control COULD be suspect. I would order your K-pins from Michael Driskell at 3rd Gen in McMinville, Tn., or Mac VanPelt.....two guys that KNOW their stuff as well as the quality of their parts, and who strive to "DO RIGHT" by their customers. I do believe they are. but some are keyed for the wheel lock out set pin. At least in 38. Anything below and after are above my paygrade.
