Default Re: Positive thoughts and Prayers for Ol Jenny

Good luck to you Don. U of I hospitals are a good place to be if you need help, and they are fairly close to Muscatine.

I'm a two year Lymphoma Cancer survivor. They have made big advances in treating cancer. Every 6 months something new comes out, they told me.

I was in the hospital in Rock Island, had an Oncologist in Davenport that was fantastic. I also was traveling to the Larie Lymphoma Institute in downtown Chicago, NW Univ. Hospitals and had excellent care. Great people.

Hang in there, keep a positive attitude. Get plenty of rest, drink all the water you can stand, eat what you can food won't be very appetizing for a while but get plenty of Protein and Vitamin B-1 you need that to rebuild.

And when you are thru the treatments, take it easy. It takes time to get your strength back don't rush it. Don't get discouraged.

Best of luck to you. People praying for you makes a big difference also. You will beat this. It can be done.
