Default Re: Crestliner steering Wheel Question

.

Actually, there MAY be a little confusion as to just what a "Kaiser-Frazer" was. Henry J. Kaiser and Joseph M. Frazer began building both Kaisers and Frazers in 1947. They appeared to be very similar in appearance to each other. But Kaisers were FRONT-wheel drive, whereas Frazers were REAR-wheel drive. Only 10,000 Frazers were produced in '51 before Joe Frazer went on down the road to bigger and better things. The company then became The Kaiser Motor Corp. and produced Kaisers through the '55 model year. As an aside, a little over 400 Kaiser Darrins were produced, becoming America's FIRST fiberglass sports car, preceding Corvette production by about a month in 1953. DD
