Default Re: 1936 ford roadster seat bracket & package tray help needed

Rick,

From the center of the lower mounting bolt hole for the top irons down to the top of the shelf is 2-3/4". In your photo where you show your brackets welded to the inner body flange, the bracket should be centered on 2 pre-existing holes in the flange. The bottom of the bracket that hangs down should be 6-7/8" from the bottom of the inner flange at a point centered between the holes. On the sides, at the location where the seat back is, it is 7" from the top of the flange down to the top of the shelf. From the center of the rear (between the two brackets), it is 10" from the top of the flange down to the top of the shelf. I think the shelf is 1/2" or 5/8" thick.

Good luck!
