Thank you,you just answered my question to what seemed like a foolish post to others who have much more serious questions. The arms on mine were installed inside the brackets opposite the punched out plug stop.So your answer got me looking at it and installed correctly.I don't know if I installed wrong or the guys in Taiwan but thank you. I have also discovered this when the rack is fully down it is shy about 1/4" or more from touching the support that is punched out.I have a pair of older ones(brackets) and the notch does support ,they were made in USA years ago not Taiwan.I may end up using them but they are pitted a lot.Repro brackets now have the notch or something in wrong position,so typical of Asianparts only has to look original not neccisarily work.
