Thanks Brian, Now that you mention this, and thinking about the clearance between the stock dist and the radiator on the '35, the 59 block with the fan pulley assy. on the front of the block won't work will it?

I have everything apart at present so I'm in no position to measure anything, but I'm just thinking about the fin damage on the radiator in the dizzy area, it didn't occur for no reason.

So what about all these 59 blocks in early v8s? I know I've seen a lot of one wire alts, and no fan up there, are they all elect fans on the front???
