As a curious rookie, what advantages (aside from 'originality') would aluminum heads provide for, say, a stock '36 21 stud over the iron ones? I understand the compression ratio might be able to be changed, but I think that can be done by modifying the iron ones, can't it?
Wasn't the issue with the original heads something to do with the original coolant/antifreeze eroding them?
