As a FYI, I thought that also, until a milk truck pulled out in front of me and threw a piece of gravel at my new Bergs radiator, rock must have hit my radiator at 40-60 mph. Created a heck of a ding. I figure I was lucky since it did not cause a leak.
I agree that the new stone guard looks out of place on my cosmetically much less than perfect Truck. I have been thinking of about either aging the finish, or having it painted or powder coated. Have yet to decide on the finish - color, gloss or satin or flat if painted/powder coated.
