Re: Squeaky belt
I use "B" belts on all my old Fords with no problems. Every once in a while you may hear what sounds like a bad generator bearing. I shoot a shot of what ever can is close and it go's away and a lot of times don't come back. I have tried belt dressing on various vehicles with belt noise and never had a lasting effect. I find taking the glaze of the belt is more perminate but can be dangerous. G.M.
