Rod bearing help
Im working on a 39 / 48 100hp engine.
The crankshaft rod journal std is 2.139, my rod ID is 2.107, so .030 brgs will work .. my problem is the rod ID is 2.370 and std is 2.360, so the rod ID is .010 over std,
So how do I measure for the bearings ?
Seams like the brg needs to be .030 under to fit the crank and .010 over to fit the rod .. but the green book isnt showing anything like that
