billybronco1: Yes, they pull apart. Pull one apart and see how they are made. Very "weak" technology but good enough back in those days. Unless you desire a 100 point restoration, you may want to consider installing more modern and secure connectors. Use shrink tubing also, if possible. Lots of good videos on You Tube. Here's a start.
