I can't speak to Mac VP's information, but in the Early Ford V-8 Club's 1935-36 Ford Book, production serial numbers for 1935 start with 18-1234357 and end with 18-2207110, so according to that info your transmission was used in production of a '35 vehicle. Further, it states that your number is in the range of serial numbers used in March of 1935. This also happens to be the case for a frame I have with a serial number that's pretty close to yours. In the picture posted you will see that the letter "I" has been used for the number "1" as rotorwrench had mentioned. I have covered the last two digits in the serial number to prevent someone else from possibly using this same number.
