Kurt, is yours a 31 coupe or sport coupe? It appears from your picture that the bottom two mounting holes would be through the metal header wood mount area. Mine does not have holes pre-drilled in a spot that would be suitable for the mirror.
Oh well, as seems to be the deal with this car... I'll make it work somehow.
