Practice shifting early and slowly on the way up, blip the throttle and double clutch on the way down. Should never grind or slam. I use lucas oil stabilizer. If the engine RPM is low and you feel like its lugging, just be easy on the throttle, give it time to wind up and it won't hurt it.

I'll try it at lunch here in a little bit. I thought I knew how to drive this. All summer long I'd just slowly and gently shift and it was fine....mostly. Now slow shifting grinds.
