2, On a 32 Ford, there are two 7/16 bolts that pull the cowl down around the outer perimeter of the firewall. Should there be a spring on these bolts? It was suggested to me that there should be, but I don't remember removing springs when I took the car apart.

Ford received parts in from his vendors. He gave suppliers the dimentions
the cases needed to be. G.M.
