To 51 Merc: Agree with you on the OHV setup. PCV valve to high vac carb base. Breather PCV tube to low vac air cleaner.
To 296v8: Related to what 36tbird asked, how is your crankcase being positively-vented if a lot of air is pulled into the oil filler cap instead of the crankcase vent?
