Machine a 1/2" aluminum rod with a slight taper and gently tap it in with a small hammer. Leave about 2 inches above the bushing so a pair of vise grips can be used to remove the plug.

The amount of oil which can be expelled out of the bushing depends on engine oil pressure and which style(59A or 8BA) engine is involved.
