I have a 20' aluminum tilt trailer and I installed a cross bed tool box for a full size pickup. I installed a Warn 8000 winch INSIDE the box with a remote control. Since I have a battery for the hydraulic pump, I used an HD connector to power the winch and I also set up some jumper cables with the same connector. I like the idea that the winch is out of the weather and that I have secure storage for tools and stuff. I also carry a turning block to get some of those hard to extract barn finds.
