Lawson guy gave me one as a sample; 10-32 size straight shank with 3 flats. Made several tapped holes in 1/4" aluminum and some in 11 gauge steel tube; thing worked good. I used a cordless drill and just watched when to slow for tapping, stop when done, and reverse it out of the hole. With those hex drives they look like they would be slick in an impact driver.
