Note that the advertisement states "impact ready", implying using some sort of impact driver. By nature impact drivers tend to slow dramatically with torque change so should work well both for drilling (higher speed, low torque) and tapping (lower speed, higher torque). Using a straight drill/drill press/mill/lathe would likely not have nearly as good results. We have used "butterfly" impact wrenches for hand tapping for years with very good results.
