It can be fixed. I have done many over the years, not just Model A. See if you can find a shop that has been in business for a long time, that has a old guy that has worked there for a long time.
It is not a big deal you first fix the crack with tapper cast plugs, over lapped half way. Then install a valve seat, and cylinder sleeve.
