I had the same problem with mine (to much play). I talked to Randy at the time and he suggested how to adjust it. Still no luck. That was years ago. At the time I thought the F1 was pricey. But, what is pricy to one might be cheap to another. I would have the old one rebuilt. Snyder's had mine rebuilt on my Phaeton and I am happy with the job that was done.
