Well, you know, I didn't have "no stinking book" when I pulled my first Model A engine. But that was 56 years ago and I was 15. If there was a book then I would have had it. A couple years later, I overhauled a Merc-o-matic transmission -- with the aid of a Motors Repair Manual. That wasn't rocket science either, but it sure made the job easier.
I actually thought he was asking for somewhere to find directions on how to do it. I guess I was wrong.
