Looks like you got a very important piece on the hood. You have the stock hood handle. Tough to find and expensive if you can find one. Nice project. The cowl vent operating mechanism is pickup only and should be the same from '40-'47. Hopefully the dash bracing has not been removed as the mechanism bolts to the bracing.
