I have another pan here and its Black but don't know the history ,the green one was Canadian of my original car ,between 33 & 34 its possible that colour varied ,the Model A was green so they may have carried that on for a bit . I have never seen grey 99% of our cars came from Canada, I always thought Grey was a rebuild colour Ted
