3 valves ? I'm still confused. Don't you have a valve spring compressor to collapse
the valve spring remove keepers and retainers remove valve then spring the valve
spring out with screwdriver then bang guide down with a 5/8 socket. thats what I do
because by now and all those years the fork guide remover tool is useless.
Disregard all of this if your working on a split guide engine I take this as a 8BA you are
working on...don't bother with the horse shoe clip let it stay on the guide & fool with that
later. Another strong word of caution with these complete valve kits. As a live and learn
we have had guides fail at maybe 200 miles as though they were 3D printed junk from
across the pond.
