Default Re: The Story of the 1935 Ford

Paul Mclaughlin is a rather prolific writer of books about trucks. He is a member of the American Truck Historical Society, New Mexico chapter. Best I can put down on a site like this is that he lives in or near the Albuquerque, NM region. If someone wanted to find him, it likely wouldn't be too difficult.

The 1935 models were developed by a group of designers at Murray Body working closely with Edsel Ford's approval on design. They were changing from the 1933/34 design which was based loosely on the model Y Ford that was one of Bob Gregorie's first designs. Murray was favored over Briggs due to union problems at the time.
