You are missing the following things:
1. The assembly lube has probably turned to bubble gum or glue since the engine was assembled at least 50 years ago (assuming it was put together by Ford Parts Obsolete in the sixties).
2. You have no idea of the quality of the work done by the person that assembled it. Were the parts just thrown together?
3. I intend to check and probably replace the valve springs since some of them have been compressed for at least 50 years.
4. It should be balanced.
5. You shouldn't just cross your fingers and hope for the best with a valuable engine that cannot be replaced.
